Exercising: I Don’t Have Time
January 28, 2008
We have all used the excuse that we do not have time to exercise. Yet it is really simple to fit in just half an hour of exercising into your day. If you are drive to work or maybe to school to drop the kids off or even take the car to the shops. Then park your car further away so you have to walk part of the way. If you can park 15 minutes away then there and back that’s 30 mins exercise. Just think of all those calories you are burning off.

Which Exercise DVD Should I Choose?
January 24, 2008
We are nearly at the end of January and thinking about exercise is all I have done. I am not sure what I fancy doing this time. I have thought about an exercise DVD. Which one? I am thinking of sticking a pin in a peice of paper with them all written on. Will it be Davina’s high impact workout or maybe Natalie Cassidy’s DVD. Have you seen the front cover? Not the best of photographs taken, It really does look like her head has been attached to someone elses body. She has of course lost an incredible amount of weight, why such a bad photo I am really not sure. That’s enough thinking of exercise for now, will pick that thought up next week.
Activia yoghurt 14 day challenge
January 21, 2008
As many of us have seen on the t.v. Activia with the help of Nell McAndrew, have challenged us to the Activia 14 day challenge. So does it work? I have to say I did not believe it for one second. How can a small pot of yoghurt possibly make a difference?
As part of my healthier eating plan for 2008 I decided to take them up on their challenge. Two weeks on, I am eating my words. Or should I say wondering why I had never eaten Activia yoghurt before. Not only does it taste really nice. With an array of flavours such as Kiwi, strawberry, mixed fruits, muesli. It really does get rid of that bloated feeling. I have now gone up to two pots of Activia a day.
Curiosity got the better of me today. I had a look at their website and set up my own plan. Your Activia plan has some very useful tips. It does of course say you must include one of the tips from the activia part. Well who came blame them? After all, they are a business and are out to make a profit. On this occassion I do not mind as the product is good.
I’m stocking up my fridge with Activia as I plan on eating these for breakfast, mixed in with a bit of muesli for the foreseeable future. So Nell McAndrew you may now shut up - I am convinced.
