Proactols Top 5 Tips For Easy Weight Loss Over Christmas
November 30, 2008
Yep Chrismtas is coming and we know what we are about to go through. People giving us too much chocolate to munch on, so much delicious food to eat with our friends and family, and drinking far too much alcohol.
Proactol is a clinically proven daily supplement which will help you to easily lose those extra pounds and reduce your excess body weight. Proactol binds up to 28% of your fat intake, decreasing your food cravings and suppressing your appetite, you can have the body you have always wanted even over Christmas!
Here are Proactols top 5 tips for you this Christmas:
1. Eat Turkey: Turkey is high in protein and low in fat. Compared to other red meats, in a 90g serving of turkey you will make a saving of 20 calories and 4.1g of fat.
2. Try not to snack in between meals: easier said than done I know, but it is those in-between nibbles that pile on the pounds. Take a 2kg tin of Roses. Did you know that in one tin alone there is 10,000 calories! - enough to put on 3 pounds.
3. Make your own puddings and treats: This does not mean cutting the fun from your Christmas completely. You too can make your own Christmas cakes, yule log or trifle, and all it takes is a slight amendment to your ingredients. Take for example a Low Fat Trifle: use reduced sugar jam on sponge cakes; sugar free jelly; fruit canned in juice rather than syrup - essentially all the same ingredients, but with less sugar and less calories.
4. A sparkling tip: By mixing white wine with either soda water or diet lemonade, you can make it last twice as long and cut your calories in half. Remember half a bottle of wine is 250 calories. 250 calories that you could easily do without.
5. Don’t stop exercising: avoid the post-Christmas sluggishness by going for a walk with your family or going for a ride on your bike. Losing weight doesn’t have to be something you do alone. Your family can also benefit too, whilst still having fun.

Healthy Christmas Dinner Top Tips
November 27, 2008
1. To reduce your fat intake, cut the skin off your turkey. It will make a fat saving of 50%. If you really do love the skin on the turkey, then to reduce your fat intake take a supplement such as Proactol.
2. Instead of a huge plate of roast potatoes, serve baked pototoes instead which only contain 0.4g of fat instead of 9g if you stick to your roast potatoes.
3. Say no to streaky bacon and you will save yourself 84 calories and 6.7g fat.
4. If you are a bread sauce lover, you are able to save yourself another couple of grams of fat by making your sauce with semi-skimmed or skimmed milk rather than whole milk.
5. Go large on brussel sprouts and carrots. Low in fat and high in antioxidant nutrients which will fill you up meaning you won’t be tempted to go for seconds.
6. Have your Christmas pudding but instead of brandy cream or butter, use custard with semi-skimmed milk. That’s almost a 50% reduction in the fat content.
Christmas dinner is not all bad, for one it tastes fabulous and another it means you are eating a balanced meal. A meal that means you are eating most of the required servings of veggies recommended that you eat a day. Also the glass of red wine you drink is a good source of antioxidant
nutrients, which can help protect you against the risk of heart disease.

The Weight I Have Lost Has Still Stayed Off!!
November 24, 2008
As promised when I stopped taking Proactol I would keep you informed as to whether I put any weight back on.
As many of us embark on a diet, lose a load of weight and then put it all back on again and a few pound extra. I wanted to see if the same happened to me.
Well I am extremely pleased to tell you that since losing weight with Proactol, then stopping taking Proactol my weight has not gone up. I have even lost a few more pounds since!
In my opinion as my weight loss was steady up to 3-4 pounds a week and not half a stone in the blink of an eye, as some diets claim as their weight loss. Has meant my body not been shocked about its sudden weight loss. Instead it has been a nice gradual weight loss meaning I have been able to maintain my new weight and not go back to the old weight.
Confidence and appearance are growing each day. I have to say I am really glad I took Proactol.
I’ll be back again soon as we have the festive holidays coming up and that is always a notoriously tough time to keep your weight steady.

Our Top Tips For A Healthier You This Christmas
November 14, 2008
Christmas and New Year can be a time when you hear your bodies groan. Too much rich food, constant snacking and drinking all add up to those extra pounds been put on. January 1st comes round and we all take one look at ourselves and think right time to lose some weight, yet again!
It doesn’t have to be like that, you can cruise into the new year weighing just what you did before all the festivities started. It won’t mean you not eating or drinking either.
Here are our top tips to help you keep in shape over the holiday season:
1. Plan: You do meal plans week by week, so don’t stop them over Christmas and New Year. By writing down what you are eating a drinking will mean you are more likely to stick to it rather than grab any snack going.
2. Exercise: Don’t stop exercising! You don’t need to go mad, but keep some sort of exercise up, whether it is walking to the shops instead of driving or running up the stairs, keep it up. Most people put weight on over the holiday period because they stop exercising not because they have eaten too much!
3. Tell People: If you have a real weakness for something, for example chocolate. Then ask friends and family not to get that as a present. If you are not brought them then you aren’t going to be eating them. If it is you buying them you can control the amount of chocolate you have in the house.
4. Alcohol: For most of us having a drink over the holidays is part of the fun, and why not? To make sure you do not cosume thousands of calories try to stick to the lower calories drinks.
5. Enjoy Yourself: You are still able to have fun. Gorging on loads of food and snacks will only leave you feeling horrible and a lot heavier going into the New Year. By implementing these few tiny changes you will have fun and not pile on the weight.

How To Keep Yourself In Shape Over The Christmas Holidays
November 11, 2008
Did you know that the average person can gain between 5 to 8 pounds over the festive period. Most of us put the fact we have put on weight to overindulging. Too much food and drink seems to us to be the obvious answer. Of course excessive eating and drinking will not help you maintain you weight, but the real reason we put on so much over this time is because of the lack of physical activity and exercise.
Why do we stop exercising over this festive period? Many of us will say we just don’t have the time. Others will be having too much fun going to parties to give exercise a second thought, for others it is simply they cannot be bothered and want the time off.
However, you are able to make time to exercise over the holiday season and still have a great time, with the added bonus of not having to go on another New Year Diet!
Here are some top tips that will help you beat the bulge and stay in shape this festive season.
1. If you having a meal out plan what you are eating if you can. If you are out for drinks then eat before you go out, your are less likely to overindulge when you are out.
2. Having the occasional treats will not hurt. If you put them into your meal plan then you will be able to manage them much better.
3. Don’t be fooled into thinking that if you skip a meal that you are able to have more treats. This won’t work it will only end up being counterproductive.
4. It’s the holidays so you are more likely to want to drink. Be careful though alcohol means calories and in the case of some drinks lots. Try to avoid mixed and fruity drinks and especially Egg Nog as this comes in at 350 calories per serving!
5. Don’t forget to exercise. This doesn’t have to mean going to the gym. Walk to places rather than drive. Running up stairs instead of plodding.
6. Make your exercise routine and goals realistic. 30 minutes a day will keep you going over the holidays rather than the normal hour. Don’t be put off by the weather. Investing in the Wii and Wii Fit may be the wisest choice you ever make, because it is an easy and fun way to exercise for all the family.
9. Being on a diet over the holidays is not a good idea. Eating foods you like in smaller portions will do you no harm. Keeping your meal planner going and up to date will also help.
10. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Not only will this combat the dehydrating affects of alcoholic beverages, but it will also help to curb your appetite. Did you know thirst is often mistaken for hunger.
11. Finally, don’t be tempted to eat a three course meal all at once try spreading them out a bit. After a rich main meal go for a walk, this could be on your own or with your family. Work up an appetite for that desert.

Eating Activia Has Become Part Of My Normal Routine
November 10, 2008
All those months ago when I did the Activia 14 Day Challenge. Were you eat at least one tub of Activia yoghurt a day. I never dreamed that I would still be eating them all these months later.
The truth is Activia has become part of my daily health routine. Each morning I have a pot of Activia yoghurt with some muesli mixed in. For best result I find the cereal activia yoghurt is the best to use. Then with my lunch or evening meal I have another pot of yoghurt.
I have carried on eating activia yoghury, because for starters it is delicious and secondly it gets rid of that bloating feeling. I have tried other brands of yoghurts, but keep coming back to Acitivia as it quite simply tastes the best and does a better job.
If you do suffer from feeling bloated then you really should give Activia yoghurt a go and see the difference for yourself in just a few weeks.
