Ashamed Of How You Look Again This Christmas?

With Christmas fast approaching, our minds turn to the good old Christmas party and New Year Celebrations! With that comes our wardrobe and what we can wear to look our best. Now some of us will have been good this year and are in good shape and ready to hit our wardrobe or the shops and are looking forward to it as we know we will look our best.

Of course for one reason or another not all of us are in the best shape of our lives and are thinking how to cover up those lumps and bumps. With careful co-ordination those lumps can be covered but it still leaves us feeling pretty rubbish about ourselves.

Why on earth didn’t we pull our fingers out all those months ago and do something about losing weight?

Right what can we do now? No point pondering on what could have been. What is needed is something that will at the very least stop me from putting on weight and in the best case scenario help me lose a bit of weight.

Don’t Put On Weight Over Christmas!

Christmas is fast approaching once again. We start to think about just how much weight we are going to put on this year. The food we are going to eat and also the drink that it undoubtedly going to go down our throats. All in all a recipe for those pounds to pile on, only to be left in the new year searching for our next diet to embark on.

Does it have to be this way? Do we really have to face another end of year weight gain followed by a new year weight loss regime??? The simple answer is NO.

Start by making sure you are exercising regular and do not stop exercising completely over the Christmas and New Year Period. There are many fantastic exercise dvds which you are able to buy which will help you to keep in shape over the Christmas period and beyond. So we have covered the exercising now lets take a look at our diet. For many of us we really look forward to tucking into a heavily loaded Christmas dinner and why not after all it is delicious and how could anyone refuse the good old christmas pud! Of course there are the healthier options for Christmas dinner but that does spoil things a bit.

Have Found Love but Have Put on Weight!

Has this ever happened to you or is happening to you now. You have finally found the one for you and are all loved up. Everything is going great you are with the person you want to be with, they make you happy. For the first time in ages you are comfortable. The relationship carries on months go on and before you know it you have been in a ’settled relationship’ for quite a while.

Then you look in the mirror and are shocked by what you see. Gone is the slim figure that you once saw, and now you are replaced by a larger version of you. What has happened? Why did you let yourself get like this? More importantly why didn’t your partner tell you that you had put on weight???

Many will put this weight gain down to feeling comfortable with someone. Well, yes you may be comfortable with your partner but, are you really comfortable with the way you look? Surely you should still make an effort to still look and feel your best?

I have seen many friends balloon after meeting someone, seeming blissfully unaware of what is happening or even bothered to do anything about it. For me after finding myself putting on weight after being very lazy shall we put it, decided to do something about it. For one very important reason – ME!

Don’t get me wrong it is very nice when you partner or a friend comments on how much weight you have lost or how nice you look. What would have been even better is if they had mentioned that before, rather than it taking me to give myself the necessary kick up the backside months and months down the line.

Anyway like I said all is well as I kick started my weight loss with the weight loss supplement Proactol then while taking Proactol made a lifestyle change. Meaning I am able to maintain my perfect weight!

You have three choices when it comes to losing weight. Do nothing, take up a weight loss program or take weight loss supplements. Yes, there are other variations but they all pretty much come down to these three.

The easiest by far is to do nothing. Carry on as before making the same excuses that you love the way you look. Or you will start a diet tomorrow. The only downside with this is your health will suffer and your confidence will go. So surely it is better to do something rather than nothing?

You could take a weight loss supplement which if you take the right weight loss supplement, could result in the weight loss you are looking for. I have taken the weight loss supplement Proactol and found it ‘did what is said on the tin’. I lost weight, had no side effects and have not put weight back on since. However, I only ever saw this as a push start to my weight loss as I did not want to be taking weight loss supplements for the rest of my life.

Finally we have the weight loss programs. Which are a comprehensive exercise and meal plan, designed to help you to lose weight and also make a lifestyle change. Which anyone who has successfully lost weight knows. You are only able to succeed eating healthy and exercising regularly if it is part of your normal routine and not an ‘added extra’.

Is Alcohol Linked to My Weight Gain?

Firstly let me explain why I have written this post and also an article. Now this may sound familiar to you. Woke up on Monday morning and groaned, oh dear another weekend where I have over-indulged on the alcohol front. Yet again I speak to myself and say this week I am going to be good, no alcohol will pass through my lips and I will eat relatively healthy and exercise well. Which to be fair I know I will, after losing way over a stone now and keeping the weight off all over summer, there is no way I am going back.

So back to the post. Looking at the title of this post, you may think that the obvious answer is Yes. That is the obvious and the conclusion I jumped to. This weekend did however leave me wondering, how much me drinking alcohol did actually affect my weight. So off I go onto Google and what I find out really does surprise me.

Summer Weight Gain and Proactol!

As promised in the very beginning of My Proactol Diary, I would keep you informed on how my weight was before and after taking proactol.

Well as you know I lost over a stone in weight while taking Proactol and then decided to stop taking them. Not because I was feeling any side effects, but because I never wanted to rely on a weight loss supplement as a permanent solution. I reached my target weight and that was good enough for me. Proactol was always a kick start to my weight loss and nothing more.

We are now well into summer and if ever there was a time to put on weight, (apart from christmas), then this would be it. Yes, there is still a packet of Proactol in my bedroom drawer, but as yet I have not needed to use them. Why? because I have not put on an ounce of weight.
