A while ago I wrote an article about overweight children on Dietreviewzone.

I have watched in dismay at many a t.v programme that shows kids massively overweight. Personally I watch in disbelief that these children are allowed to put on so much weight.

Why is this happening? From what I have seen it is on the increase also. As a parent I take full responsibility as to what my child eats and make sure that I don't let my child have too many foods that are bad for them and that they have plenty of healthy foods.

Yet whenever I watch these programmes the childs house is full of crisps,chocolate and processed food. I wonder if this could have something to do with our overweight children?

It is a great worry to see Children not eating even half healthy meal. It seems to me that now a couple of generations seem stuck in the processed food way of feeding their children.

What are we to do? Taking responsibility for ourselves and what our children eat, yes. But if you really think that there is nothing wrong with your childs diet then re-education has to be the key.
