It is a vicious circle. You don't want your child to be overweight, and there is of course the other side of the coin. You don't want your child to become obsessed not becoming overweight and go the other way and end up anorexic.

What can we do when children get taken the mickey out of them when they are overweight and also get the mickey taken out of them when they are skinny.

How can we ensure that our children get it just right on the weight front? With all the pressures going on around them, it is going to be difficult, especially as a lot of us parents have our own diet and weight loss issues!!

It really is frightening just how bigger problem obesity in kids is becoming. I have not long  come back off my holiday and thought exactly the same thing!

Things are slowly changing in school with healthier food and snacks, but if we don't follow this through at home then it won't get any better will it?
