Don’t Put On Weight Over Christmas!

Christmas is fast approaching once again. We start to think about just how much weight we are going to put on this year. The food we are going to eat and also the drink that it undoubtedly going to go down our throats. All in all a recipe for those pounds to pile on, only to be left in the new year searching for our next diet to embark on.

Does it have to be this way? Do we really have to face another end of year weight gain followed by a new year weight loss regime??? The simple answer is NO.

Start by making sure you are exercising regular and do not stop exercising completely over the Christmas and New Year Period. There are many fantastic exercise dvds which you are able to buy which will help you to keep in shape over the Christmas period and beyond. A particular favourite of ours is Davina McCall who is now bringing us Davina Fit which is new for 2009. Or take a look at the Wii Fit and now Wii Fit Plus all designed to get you fit and have fun. We really enjoy the EA Sports Active Personal Trainer as this really does get you working.

So we have covered the exercising now lets take a look at our diet. For many of us we really look forward to tucking into a heavily loaded Christmas dinner and why not after all it is delicious and how could anyone refuse the good old christmas pud! Of course there are the healthier options for Christmas dinner but that does spoil things a bit.

We have found another option. Proactol works by reducing your fat intake by 28%. I used Proactol over the Christmas period last year and did not put on any weight. Previously I had taken Proactol for a number of months and lost over a stone in weight. I decided that I did not want to go back into old habits over Christmas so I took it again for a couple of months before and a month after. A year on the weight has stayed off. I would never put some off from using a weight loss supplement as a way to help kick start your weight loss and Proactol certainly worked for me.

It is easy really exercise and find yourself a good diet plan or weight loss supplement and you won’t be facing the New Year breaking the scales again.

However, if you do find yourself facing the weight loss battle in the New Year then take a look at our review of Proactol.

Is Alcohol Linked to My Weight Gain?

Firstly let me explain why I have written this post and also an article. Now this may sound familiar to you. Woke up on Monday morning and groaned, oh dear another weekend where I have over-indulged on the alcohol front. Yet again I speak to myself and say this week I am going to be good, no alcohol will pass through my lips and I will eat relatively healthy and exercise well. Which to be fair I know I will, after losing way over a stone now and keeping the weight off all over summer, there is no way I am going back.

So back to the post. Looking at the title of this post, you may think that the obvious answer is Yes. That is the obvious and the conclusion I jumped to. This weekend did however leave me wondering, how much me drinking alcohol did actually affect my weight. So off I go onto Google and what I find out really does surprise me.

How To Keep Exercising In The Summer

You have got yourself back into shape so you can look your best on the beach in your bikini. Now what do you do? Do not do what many of us do and that is completely stop exercising. Why let all that hardwork go to waste? Wouldn’t it be so much better to get to the end of the summer and still be looking and feeling good?

Yes I know that the weather gets hotter but that is no excuse to stop exercising. You should still be able to fit in some sort of exercise at least 30 minutes 4 times a week.

When the heat and humidity is hotter it can make exercising more difficult but not impossible.

You will find that air quality will be a factor when exercising in heat. When there is high heat and humid conditions perspiration will not evaporate efficiently and therefore it is harder to regulate your body temperature. When this happens you may well need to shorten your workout.

Here are some Top Tips that will ensure you are able to Exercise Safely in the Summer:

•Whenever you exercise you must make sure you hydrate yourself properly. During summer it is even more important that you make sure you do this.

•Common sense will tell you not to exercise when the sun is at its strongest. The best times to exercise during the summer months are before 10am and after 7pm

• Wearing lighter colored clothes will reflect the heat much better than darker colors. If you are exercising outside make sure you wear a sunhat and sunglasses

•You are going to be a lot more comfortable exercising in a air conditioned gym rather than outside. However that does not mean for you to just stay in. Just remember to go out when it is cooler.

•If you do exercise out in the summer heat then make sure you are wearing sunscreen. Just because you are moving does not mean you will not get sunburn

•To avoid any skin irritation shower and change your clothes straight after you have finished warming down from your exercising.

•If you are worried about exercising in the heat of the summer then consult your doctor.

Are Weight Loss Supplements Or Diet Pills Addictive?

Some of you may have read a recent article saying that Victoria Beckham is now hooked on diet pills. Whilst this article title turned out to be somewhat stretched as it turns out she is apparantely taking a herbal pill in order to increase her sex drive and energy to hopefully help to conceive their fourth child. It does make me wonder and ask the question. Are weight loss supplements or diet pills addictive?

As someone who is taking the weight loss supplement Proactol, I can say that I have not as yet found taking this particular diet pill addictive.

We have gone into greater detail and tackled this question, which you are able to read in our Are Weight loss supplements and Diet pills Addictive here.

Getting Through The Weekend And Not Drinking Too Much

If you are anything like me then the time when you fall flat on your face when on a diet is mainly the weekend. Why? Well for me it is pure and simple it is my time to relax and have a few drinks. This generally means that over the weekend I am likely to put on a few pounds. This was my concern going into last weekend as it was my first proper weekend of taking Proactol.

So how did I get on this weekend?

I have took Proactol after each main meal with plenty of fluids. Yes I have been out and had a few drinks but not gone mad. I have also watched what I am drinking keeping to Vodka or Rose if I did have a drink.

I have to say I am really impressed with myself with not going totally mad over the weekend and not drinking to excess. I have also watched what I have been eating and tried to keep it as healthy as possible. For example at the BBQ I went to having chicken rather than a burger with cheese. I even took some marinated chicken to the BBQ just to make it a bit more interesting to eat.

Thursday is my weigh in day, so I am hopeful that I have continued to lose weight.

See you then!

Do You Think Taking Weight Loss Supplements Is The Right Option?

Are taking weight loss supplements dangerous? Should we all just stick to eating healthy and exercising regularly? Does the weight pile straight back on after you stop taking weight loss supplements?

All of the above questions I will endeavour to answer over the next couple of months. I have decided to take a weight loss supplement that many of you may have heard of, Proactol. Why? (A) I want to lose a bit of weight. (B) Proactol seems from my research to be a weight loss supplement that actually works, naturally and without any side effects.

I have taken the first step and ordered Proactol and should be receiving my order any day now. I have also set up My Proactol Diary, where you are able to follow my weight loss journey.

How has Natalie Cassidy been able to stick to her diet and lose an incredible 4 stones? With a few good diet tips and regular exercise using her DVD, Then and Now.

Here are her top 5 diet tips:

1 Try not to eat carbs after 6pm.

2 Don’t feel pressured to have calorific alcoholic drinks. Instead choose one that looks similar. Natalie has diet tonic water with lemon and ice, which looks and tastes like gin and tonic.

3 Pile your plate with lots of steamed vegetables such as broccoli and carrots.

4 Work out three times a week. If you can’t get to the gym, use a fitness DVD.

5 If you feel like snacking, find something to do. Reading or playing on your Wii Fit

6 Don’t fret over a few pounds. Natalie weighs between 8st 1lb and 8st 8lb. The leeway means you don’t panic if you put on a few pounds.

Why I Am Taking Proactol And How To Order Proactol

Why Do I Want To Use Proactol?

I am a great believer that if you are not happy with the way you look and you can do something about it then do it. I am not overweight by any stretch of the imagination, but I have put on a few too many pounds and don’t feel as comfortable as I once did, so time to do something about it. Realistically I would like to lose up to 1 stone in weight.

Today I have taken the first step and ordered Proactol. It was really easy to do and comfirmation came through of my order virtually immediately.

So here is what I did to order Proactol

1. From a link on Dietreviewzone I went through to Proactols site

2. Next you select the package you want to order. I went for the 3 month package as I don’t have a massive amount of weight to lose and feel that 3 months is good length of time to see how effective Proactol is. As you will see they offer packages up to 8 months.

3. Choose your preferred delivery option. You have 2 choices either DHL, which costs $38.95/ 24.84euro/ £19.56 and is tracked & guaranteed delivery within 2-3 days. Or FREE delivery which could take up to 30 days and is not tracked.

4. Once you have selected your package and delivery option, next thing to do is pay for your order. You are able to pay by the following methods: Credit and Debit card, Discover & Amex, PayPal or order over the phone. If you order over the phone you need to quote ref: 115225.

5. Order placed and payment made. Within a few seconds an email arrived confirming my order had been received and included my username and password for the members area. An invoice receipt then arrived by email. I would strongly recommend you check the invoice details as this confirms your delivery address.

6. The whole process of ordering took no time at all. Just waiting now for my order to arrive so I can get on with the job of losing some weight.

I am guessing that if you are interested in taking Proactol then you will want to know the cost, I certainly did. Each box contains 120 pills and will last for 1 month. For all orders 4 months and over you will get 1 months of Proactol Free:

Cost of Proactol

1 month = $89.95/ 57.36euro/ £45.17
2 months = $168.95 /106.27euro /£84.69
3 months = $208.95 /133.26euro /£104.74
4 months = $248.95 /158.04euro /£125.01
5 months = $278.95 /175.46euro /£139.39
6 months = $298.95 /188.04euro /£149.87
8 months = $360.95 /227.04euro /£181.26

(Please note all the conversions from $ to £ and euro are approximate. I have put them in just to give you an idea, they are subject to change depending on the exchange rate at the time you order)
