Weight Loss, Weight Gain And The Recession
Did you know that we are in a recession? Have you heard someone mention the credit crunch at all today? If you are answering no to both of these questions then I do have to ask. Where have you been? The whole country seems to be feeling very negative at the moment and people are getting pulled down. It is no wonder really as all we are hearing at the moment is just how bad things are. With all this negativity can come for some people. Rapid weight gain because they are comfort eating or buying cheaper, not so healthy food. Or rapid weight loss because some of us are either not eating what we should or simply to stressed to eat.
However bad things are or how you are feeling you need to look after yourself. Starving yourself will not solve your financial problem and eating food as something to make you feel better. Will do nothing short of you ending up weighing heavier and therefore feeling even worse. Just because there is a recession going on does not mean you have to do this to yourself.
So what can you do to keep yourself looking and feeling at your best during the credit crunch?
Don’t Stop Exercising: If you do head down the gym for your regular exercise and are finding it difficult to pay the monthly membership. Then look for alternatives, for example invest in some equipment and set up your own gym at home. Yes you are paying out initially but it will soon pay for itself in the long run. Or get yourself some good exercise DVDs and save even more money. One of the best things we invested in was the Wii and Wii Fit an early Christmas present to our family and great exercise. Whatever you do don’t stop exercising just because you are getting a bit strapped for cash, if you stop exercising weight can all to easily start to pile back on.
Keep to your Weight Loss Plan: If you are someone that takes a weight loss supplement or is on a diet don’t stop just because times are tough. Items like this are not a luxury item, although seen by many as just that. If they help you keep your weight or lose weight, which in turn means a happier and healthier you then don’t feel guilty for carrying on or starting in the first place. To keep your teeth clean you use toothpaste and this is not classed as a luxury. So taking something for your weight or going on a diet is it really a luxury?
By taking care of yourself and making sure you are the weight you want to be. You will find it much easier to maintain a positive confident manner. Start to let yourself go or give up on your dream of being a slimmer you and you could all to easy get dragged down.
