The only downside, (if you can call it that) is that to buy a treadmill that will last, you do need to spend a bit of money. Going for the cheaper option is not the way to go. It will not last, will not be as smoother run as the more expensive machines and you will end up letting it gather dust. The best piece of advise we can give you is invest in a good quality treadmill, it will be worth it and if looked after properly will last you many years.

Top tip when buying a treadmill is buy one that has a good warranty on it. If they are confident that their product is reliable and that it will not break after a few months use then the length of the warranty will reflect this.
